Fed move revives hopes of RBI rate cut
  Hopes of a Bank Rate cut by the Reserve Bank of India were again revived after the US Federal Reserves cut its interest rate by 50 basis points to 2.50 per cent, late on Tuesday.
Reddy hints at RBI giving up supervisory role
  The Reserve Bank of India deputy governor Dr YV Reddy on Wednesday hinted at the possibility of giving up its supervisory role over financial intermediaries.
