CII, TN govt to host Connect 2001 in Chennai

The Confederation of Indian Industry along with the Tamil Nadu government is organising Connect 2001 from September 13-16 in Chennai.

The event, which will be inaugurated by Ms J Jayalalitha, chief minister of Tamil Nadu, will showcase the latest developments in the field of information, communication and bio-informatics.

Connect 2001 will have prominent speakers from India and abroad. They include Prof. Jeffery Sachs, Harvard University, the United States of America (over video link), Mr F C Kohli, Tata Consultancy Services and many others.

The international conference would cover emerging technologies, infrastructure for knowlege-based industries, international success stories and changing face of technologies in information technology.
The highlights of the event include a four day international exhibition, two day international conference, sectoral roundtables in information technology in different user industries, exclusive chief executive officers’ roundtable, 20,000 trade and business visitors, 50 exhibits representing various industries.

The event would be held at the Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, Chennai, a world class facility.
