Hexaware plans Rs 25-cr devt centre in Chennai

HEXAWARE Technologies Ltd is setting up a development centre in Chennai at a initial cost of Rs 25 crore.

The first phase of construction would be complete in the next 15-18 months and would seat 1200 professional, said Mr P.K. Sridharan, executive director, Hexaware.

A further investment of Rs 50 crore would be made in the centre over a four to five-year period. After completion, the facility can accommodate 5,000-6,000 professionals, he added.

The company, which is in the process of being merged with Aptech Ltd, has a healthy order pipeline of $60 million, which will be executed over a two to three year period. The order funnel is expected to grow to $90 million by the end of the year.
