Radico Khaitan H1 net up 61% at Rs 8 crore

New Delhi, Aug 10: Radico Khaitan Ltd has announced a 61-per cent growth in its net profit during first six months of the current year at Rs 7.96 crore from Rs 4.96 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Sales of Radico Khaitan also recorded an increase of 69 per cent over the last half-yearly results, a company statement said.

Lalit Khaitan, chairman and managing director of the company, said, “An increased demand for Khaitan brands had resulted in improved results over the last year. We are expecting a similar growth trend in the current fiscal year as well.”

Radico Khaitan, one of the largest manufacturers of liquor in the country, is known for its flagship brand Contessa rum and 8 PM whisky. The company has recently diversified into food products and non-alcoholic beverages also.
