Market slide hits JVSL, Essar Steel investors most

  Equity funds saw erosion in their net asset values during June as the equity markets witnessed another bout of downfall with both the National Stock Exchange and the Bombay Stock Exchange indices sliding over 7.5 per cent.
FII investments at Rs 289 crore last week
  Foreign institutional investors’ crossed the Rs 12,000-mark. FII inflows as on July 12, 2001 was Rs 12,090-crore. FIIs investments for the week ending July 12, 2001 were higher at Rs 288.6 crore against inflows of Rs 119 crore for the week ending July 5, 2001.
