Indian delegation to attend US call centre meet

New Delhi, July 15: The Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) is sponsoring a business delegation to the US to coincide with the 13th Annual International Call Centre Management (ICCM) conference and exhibition to be held in Chicago from July 30 to August 2, 2001.

The ICCM exhibition will showcase changes that are taking place in the call centre market and will address the issues of call centre and e-commerce management.

The visit assumes importance against the backdrop of predictions that in the midst of US slowdown, IT segments like offshore call centers and outsourcing will get a big boost.
