IMF seeks ways to attach fewer loan conditions

Berlin, June 11: The International Monetary Fund said on Monday it was searching for ways to attach fewer conditions on its loans to give countries more freedom in setting their economic policies. IMF Deputy MD Shigemitsu Sugisaki said it wants to streamline conditionality but that some conditions would remain.
