V&S International plans business expansion

CR Rathee

Gurgaon, June 6: READYMADE garment-maker V&S International, which has factories at Okhla and Gurgaon, has decided to expand and diversify its business. “The group, which is a 100 per cent export oriented venture, has incorporated a new Rs 16.80 crore private limited concern V&S Textnits for dyeing and knitting the cotton fabrics in Udyog Vihar (phase V) at Gurgaon,” said Mr CP Gauba, the company’s chairman-cum-managing director.

The entire output of Texnits will be consumed by the V&S’s own readymade garment manufacturing units, which export woven as well as knitted garments for ladies and children. Its major buyers include Punto Fa Si of Spain, Littlewood Retails of UK and Ivory International of the US. Being in the business for over 13 years, the V&S group is acknowledged as one of the largest readymade garment export houses of the country.
