Satyam Computer in alliance with MatrixOne to offer CPC solutions

Our eFE Bureau

Hyderabad, June 6: IT major Satyam Computer Services Limited (SCSL) has entered into an alliance on Wednesday, with the US-based MatrixOne Inc, engaged in intelligent collaborative commerce, to offer Collaborative Product Commerce (CPC) solutions.

The solutions combine the MatrixOne Value Chain Portfolio of applications and the eMatrix net market platform with Satyam’s strategic consulting and solution implementation services, a press release said here.

MatrixOne’s products provide an infrastructure for establishing business-to-business collaboration among trusted customers, suppliers and other business partners, while also enabling secure access to independent trading communities and applications within private and public net markets.

The eMatrix platform and value chain portfolio applications use the Internet to link people, processes and information to enable dramatic improvements in profitability and efficiency throughout the value chain.
The eMatrix also facilitates collaboration among geographically dispersed departments and divisions within an enterprise and among the enterprise’s customers, suppliers and other business partners to link customers, design chain partners and employees to their product development processes.

According to Mr FS Mohan Eddy, senior vice-president and head of collaborative enterprise solutions for Satyam Computers, “at Satyam, we are seeing a growing demand for CPC solutions, particularly MatrixOne-based solutions, in our existing as well as our prospective customer base.”

“We expect to create value for our customers in reducing product cost, time-to-market and improved quality through optimised business processes associated with the product lifecycle,” he added.
