Asianet contributes Rs 7.25 crore to Gujarat quake victims Asianet Communications Ltd on Monday presented a cheque for Rs 7.25 crore to Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee towards the national relief fund for quake victims in Gujarat. The amount was collected from 42,000 viewers of the Malayalam language satellite channel both in India and abroad, particularly from the Gulf region, an official release said here. The cheque was presented by Asianet chairman Raji Menon. While viewers from India contributed approximately Rs 4.67 crore, the NRIs accounted for a contribution of Rs 2.58 crore, it said.CustomerAsset to support European ASP eVentures India-promoted, CRM services company, CustomerAsset has signed on the European e-commerce customer support application service provider, Atmyside. Under the terms of the agreement, CustomerAsset's pool of agents based in Bangalore, will help reduce support costs at Atmyside, as multiple customer enquiries can be dealt with at the same time.
