Tata Engg, Peugeot zoom in on PC 206 as platform for new car
Tata Engineering and PSA Peugeot Citroen appear to have zeroed in on the saloon version of PC's 206 hatch-back as the platform for their recently announced feasibility study for jointly developing a new car, according to a recent report published in The Economist.

Pepsico to invest Rs 100 crin bottled water business
Pepsico will pump in fresh investment worth Rs 50 crore to commission five new plants for manufacturing its bottled water brand Aquafina, this month. This would be the first tranche of the total investment of Rs 100 crore which Pepsi plans to invest in its water business in a period of over 18 months.

Reliance Industries to revamp textile, furnishing brands
In a first ever move to revamp its oldest facility for textiles business at Naroda here, RIL has announced a comprehensive restructuring plan to focus on value-added men's wear and home furnishings under the brand names of `Vimal' and `Harmony', besides offering VRS to 3,000 people at a cost of Rs 80 crores.
