Media firms scramble to rewrite expansion script
It feels like Nightmare on Elm Street. Early this year, a rash of media companies announced their intention to go public to raise pots of money for investments in expansion plans.

Puja opts for private placement
Puja Entertainment, promoted by Hindi film producer Vashu Bhagnani, is examining the possibility of a private placement. This is in addition to the company's IPO plans. Mr Bhagnani had earlier spoken to eFE on his company's intention of going public.

Syntel talks Turkey with $1.2m project
Syntel, a global e-business and applications outsourcing firm, has bagged a $1.2 million project from Turkey-based Boursan Holding A.S, a conglomerate of companies engaged in steel and pipe manufacturing, automobile distribution, logistics, telecommunications, Internet and other businesses.
