A-I posts Rs 63 cr10-month net loss

New Delhi, March 28 : Air India has registered a net loss of Rs 63 crore for the 10-month period ended January 2001, while its operating loss stood at Rs 121 crore for the period.For the year 1999-2000, the airline improved its performance by registering an operating profit of Rs 76 crore and reducing its losses to Rs 38 crore from Rs 174 crore in the previous year. "The airline has already floated a tender for the Airbus 310 and bids are being evaluated", a senior Air India official told The Financial Express.
