Panel pulls up DoT for delay in funds release

New Delhi, March 26 A Parliamentary Committee on infotech has pulled up the Dept of Telecommunications (DoT) for the delay in releasing funds to the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT). Regretting the fact that this has caused C-DoT to under-utilise funds for as long as nine years beginning 1992-93, the Parliamentary Standing Committee on IT, has asked DoT to make possible the timely release of funds "so that the work of C-DoT does not suffer."
