NetXcell in pact with Addsoft to provide SMS, WAP services

Hyderabad: NetXcell, a wireless application service provider, announced a tie-up with Oman-based Advanced Software LLC (Addsoft), a leading software solutions provider, to provide SMS and WAP related services, here on Tuesday. As part of the tie-up, NetXcell will offer all the SMS and WAP applications and services to Omantel, the GSM service provider for the Sultanate of Oman having 1,00,000 subscribers. This will enable Omantel to provide value-added services to its customers. Addsoft is the systems integrator for Omantel. In addition to providing content for the SMS services, NetXcell will develop specialised Arab content for the Omanese and Indian content for the Indian expatriates there. Simultaneously, the company is working on providing mobile software solutions in the field of SMS and WAP for corporate and banking services.
