Godrej Group'sdemerger issue 

 
The Mumbai High Court on Wednesday sanctioned the scheme of arrangement between Godrej Soaps Ltd and Godrej Consumer Products Ltd for the demerger of the Consumer Products division of Godrej Soaps with effect from the appointed date April 1, 2001. Godrej Soaps is being demerged into Godrej Consumer Products Ltd and Godrej Industries Ltd.
