Texprocil for steps to boost exports 

PRESS TRUST OF INDIA  
Coimbatore, Feb 19: The Cotton Textile Export Promotion Council (Texprocil) has urged the government to take urgent steps to boost exports of textile goods.In a memorandum submitted to the Prime Minister , Texprocil chairman T Kannan said textile industry's share in industrial production accounted for 16% and over 30% of Indian exports.
