Mithi Software unveils mailjol Unplugged 2.0

Hyderabad: The Pune-based Mithi Software Technologies Pvt Ltd, launched mailjol Unplugged 2.0 - e-mail software for personal computers in Telugu and ten other Indian languages here on Monday. This software is targeted at frequent users of local language e-mail. This e-mail software can act as a standalone mail software enabling users to send and receive mail in English and eleven other Indian languages using any POP e-mail account. To be priced Rs 1,500, this software would be available throughout India with many facilities like translitration and password-protected multiple instances, said Ashok Malaviya, vice-president of mithi.com Pvt Ltd. The first of its kind e-mail software promises to lower the cost of e-mail in Indian languages, especially for frequent users of e-mail in local languages, he said. Mailjol Unplugged eliminates the need to stay connected to the Web while working with mail, much like the use of Outlook express, he said. Mithi is working on becoming a multiple product company from being a single product company, building on its core competence of delivering world-class software products, he added.
