FIIs pump in Rs 970 cr for week ended Feb 15

Mumbai, Feb 18: The total investments made by foreign institutional investors (FIIs) during this year as on Feb 15, 2001 has reached Rs 5,416.3 crore. They pumped in Rs 970.6 crore during the week ended Feb ruary15, 2001, against net outflows of Rs 134.6 crore during the week ended Feb 8, 2001. Their total investments in equities were Rs 940.9 crore and in debt was Rs 29.7 crore.The total investments made by FIIs during this month, as on Feb 15 were Rs 1,143 crore. Mutual funds (MFs) were net sellers for the week again with outflows of Rs 365.73 crore during the week ended Feb 15, 2001, against a net outflow of Rs 8.31 crore during the week ended Feb 8, 2001. They were sellers in equity with outflows of Rs 443.11 crore and investments of Rs 77.38 crore in debt. During the month as on Feb 15, 2001 they were sellers with outflows of Rs 701.62 crore.
