KHIL completes first phase of restructuring KAMATH Hotels (India) Ltd (KHIL), owner of The Orchid has successfully completed the first phase of financial restructuring exercise. According to a press release, as part of the first phase of restructuring, the group has been successful in replacing part of its high cost debt with low cost funds through structured credit enhancement mechanism and realigning medium term repayment obligation corresponding to its cash accruals. The group, in the meantime, has gained the leadership position in its segment enjoying the highest occupancy rate.APT Technosis to establish Australian presence The Noida-based APT Technosis Ltd (APT) on Sunday said it would soon launch its office in Australia for tapping infotech opportunities in the market. "The company has got permission from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for opening up a branch in Australia and very soon the company's own office would start functioning," company CEO Diwakar Kashyap said. Clarification The headline for the report on Hind Lever Chemicals which appeared on Saturday, February 17 should have read as "Hind Lever Chemicals exits fertiliser trading business" and not as published.
