Resonance offers Web-enabled plant maintenance system

Hyderabad : The Hyderabad-based Resonance Technologies (P) Ltd, an NRI-promoted ISO 9001 certified company, has launched a Web-enabled plant maintenance management system, Resonance plant monitor, for manufacturing industries. For marketing and development of the product in the US, Resonance has tied up with the Ohio-based OHM Systems, who are the providers of manufacturing enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications in the US. The product, comprising of three basic modules-preventive maintenance, shop inventory and spare parts purchasing, is likely to be priced at Rs 1.5 lakh which is inclusive of installation, training and data conversion, said Mr Ramesh Ravella, president and managing director of the company.

The integrated system is designed to track all the equipment and other assets that require unscheduled emergency maintenance, he said. "We are targeting vertical industries like cement and engineering industries, automobile industries where maintenance is intensive. This version is tailor-made to suit various industries," he said. The company is planning to sell 300 licensees in the next three years in the domestic market and the market is for plant monitors poised for good growth in the next three years since the design is based on Internet technology, Mr Ravella added.
