Mumbai, Feb 13: BULLION: Both the precious metals recovered modestly on the bullion market here on Tuesday.Standard gold moved up by Rs 10 at Rs 4,360, while gold .22 carat recovered by same margin at Rs 4,035 per 10gm in sympathy. Prices of gold biscuit (116.50gm) hardened by Rs 150 at Rs 51,150 per piece. Fresh seasonal interest at reduced level help gold to recover, while tight supplies kept offerings at a low ebb. Silver .999 recovered by Rs 15 at Rs 7,625 per kg.
Silver .916 was placed Rs 10 up at Rs 7,510 per kg. Seasonal demand was slow but fresh industrial buying, eased supplies of raw silver and firm Delhi and overseas advices arrested fresh offerings in the local market.
OIL, OILSEEDS: Groundnut oil ruled easy while castorseed and its oil in the ready section maintained and futures market recovered on renewed buying support.
Groundnut oil closed Rs 3 lower at Rs 292 per 10 kg amidst thin buying coupled with continued supplies from Gujarat. In Rajkot groundnut oil placed at Rs 520/525 per 15 kg.
