Mumbai : Cyber Expo Ltd, the event manager for the Nasscomm 2001 exhibition has decided to stage Indian IT shows in the foreign countries. The company which is a division of Cyber Media group of companies, has a revenue turnover of Rs 8 crore in the last financial year with expectation to achieve Rs 15 crore at the end of this financial year.

"As an Indian IT event management company we want to go global and at the same time want to project the potential of the Indian IT companies. With the aim of showcasing Indian IT industry we hope to move in different parts of the world," said Mr Nath. The company wants to have foreign tie-ups to stage Indian IT shows. The tie-ups can be with the concerned governments or with the different foreign private bodies. "We are a platform where we provide direct face to face interaction with the vendors and users community. We deciminate information in the area of ICE, through quality product and services," said Mr Nath. Along with Nasscom,Cyber Expo is organising the Nasscom exhibition at the World Trade Centre. The company officials pointed out that the main role of Cyber Expo in the exhibition are logistics support and space marketing.

The arrangement with Nasscom is on revenue sharing basis. Beside the Nasscom show, the last year the company also organised Bangalore IT.com, hi-tech Pune and Kerala IT shows. " We are the only IT event management company who organises regional IT shows. The reason why we are the largest IT exhibition company in the country is due to our ability to create new products. We hope to do this and maintain a growth rate of around 80 per cent," added Mr Nath.
