Shyam donates 100 sat-phones
New Delhi : Shyam ACeS (India) Private Limited, a joint venture between the Shyam Group of India and Asia Cellular Satellite of Indonesia has donated 100 Ericsson R-190 satellite phones for immediate use by the Government of India, to provide connectivity in the earth-quake stricken areas of Gujarat, according to press release issued here on Thursday. Mr Rajiv Mehrotra, chairman, Shyam Group stated, "we in Shyam ACeS are deeply grieved at the immense loss of life and property in this natural calamity and we stand by the government in its efforts to rebuild the phone network."Copyright © 2001 Indian Express Newspapers (Bombay) Ltd.
