IndiaConstruction.com offers e-commerce rating service

Mumbai : Indiaconstruction.com, the B2B portal for the construction Industry in a tie-up with CredibilityFirst, (a division of CRISIL the agency for credit rating) launched credibility number and eCommerce rating/evaluation services for registered members of IndiaConstruction.com. The portal has also entered into an alliance with InFreight.com, and Tendersinfo.com. The former allows premium buyers to post a requirement to transport their goods and the latter offers a tenders section on it. The e-commerce rating and evaluation service is aimed at addressing registered members' authentication and business credential verification requirements on the IndiaConstruction.com site.The rating symbols would be categorised as `E1' (mostcomfortable) to `E6' (default category) denoting varying capability to honour business transactions. Mr Rohit Gera, managing director and Chief executive officer of the portal, said "all registered subscribers would be assigned a credibility number. The portal had about 2000 and 20,000 registered buyers and sellers respectively. With the introduction of this service, the subscription fees has been hiked by Rs 300 to Rs 1,875.
