Soffia Software launches eMpower

Mumbai : Soffia Software Limited has launched `eMPower', a Human Resources management system software application. The product is developed on the Microsoft DNA and Java Server pages and is compatible with both the Explorer and Netscape Browsers. The company has bagged its first order in this product line from Johnson & Johnson Limited and has more than a dozen clients in its pipeline for implementing of this package. It is also in discussion with one of the top five Internationally reputed management consulting firms, who will be involved in implementation of the package to its various clients, according to a company press release. The company also plans on tying up with an international marketing company for marketing the product, which would enable it to compete with international players.

The product has been developed in-house by the company's R&D team and is based on the extensive domain knowledge gained in developing various application products such as SOFPAY, Fassets, Surveylance, etc. This product addresses the needs of the HR department of any organisation. It is a Web-based package developed on Microsoft DNA encompassing all the HR related areas of an organisation such as Personal data, recruitment, training, appraisals and rewards, health and safety and time management. The product also ensures security of data, ease and flexibility of report and customising to suit the client's requirements. `eMPower' is designed on N-Tier Architecture, which enables independent working of the user interface, business logic and database.

The company has set up an exclusive center to cater to the needs of the Research & Development team of `eMPower'.
