iSATs from Zen Tech soon

Our Bureau
Hyderabad: Zen Technologies Limited, claimed to be first manufacturer of high-end multimedia weapons simulator for security forces, is all set to commercially launch its iSATS - Interactive Small Arms Training Simulator soon.

The company, which had earlier announced its expansion plans in August last year, including developing ZENiSATS, has completed the work and will be launching it soon for the commercial purpose, a press release said here.

The company is presently selling a unique software-based simulator called Zen Small Arms Training Simulator (ZENSATS), a basic indoor product being used by security forces for imparting training in use of fire arms without expending ammunition or going to the range.

ISATS is an interactive training simulator. While ZenSats is a basic simulator, iSATS will meet the advanced training requirements with interactive targets depicting real life situations such as ambush, hijacking, the press release added. The third product - TacSim - is also at an advanced stage of development and likely to be ready for launch in April 2001. These three products will stabilise the company significantly in the field of training simulators.

The company has opened an office in the UK to explore the export potential and step up the initiatives significantly once all three products have been sold in India and their performance is proven.
