Chennai, Jan 6: The Chennai-based Pentasoft Technologies Ltd on Saturday reported a 56 per cent jump in profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 329.86 million (Rs 211.50 million) for the third quarter ended December 31, 2000. For the whole nine-month period ending December last, the company's PAT stood at Rs 988.55 million (Rs 553.10 million), representing a robust growth of 75.12 per cent, according to a company statement issued here.
Total income of the company stood at Rs 1,530.71 million (Rs 1,000.10 million) during the third quarter, clocking a growth of 53 per cent.
For the whole nine months the total income was Rs 4,387.28 million (Rs 2,836.million).
