Color Chips acquires marketing rights of Corbett

Hyderabad Color Chips (India) Ltd, a player in the 2D and 3D animation industry, has signed an agreement with the US-based Corbett Features for a period of three years.The company has acquired the exclusive marketing rights to promote the features developed by Corbett Features in newspapers, periodicals, pamphlet compilation, book compilation, advertisement in any medium for the entire region of south-east Asia, according to a press release. Corbett Features is an internationally renowned player in the business of creating and syndicating cartoon features in the US. The project has been evaluated on the basis of the trial orders that were undertaken in the last three months. The company has to its credit a library of creative features like Rafferty, Duncan, Kokora, Star Crossed, 7 Guardian Angels, etc. The company expects to make gross weekly billings of $200 averaged over 11 months by the end of the first year of the agreement, says the release.
