Onward Education launches IT-enabled solutions, services

Ahmedabad : The year-old Onward Education Private Limited on Thursday formally launched its IT-enabled solutions and services for educational institutions and students. The solutions are aimed at enabling education providers to leverage the power of IT to deliver education more effectively as well as allow students to make the right career choices from the wide variety of course options available today.

A digital age organisation - Onward Education - has a countrywide presence backed by a strong professional management. The company, which has centres in Ahmedabad, New Delhi and Bangalore to showcase these new technologies, is focused on providing IT-enabled services for using the Internet in education, e-learning, library automation and customised solutions for educational institutions. As the CEO of Onward Education, Mr Atul Bansal, put it, "Education today works like any other corporate industry."

Also present on the occasion were representatives of ExLibris and eCollege.com.

The company is also launching its first portal "GraduateIndia.com" by June this year. The portal is designed to be a powerful info-tool for students to determine the best options for higher education, given their career aspirations.

In addition, the portal also aims to be the largest repository of information on over 6000 colleges and over 15 disciplines. Career counselling will further be enhanced by offering several real services from the nationwide presence of Onward Education.
