Creative Eye lists at 30% premium

Mumbai, Dec 18: The stock market seems to have a liking for the media stocks with Creative Eye Ltd, the company promoted by cine artist Dhiraj Kumar, lising at the BSE at a premium to the offfer price on Monday. Shares of Creative Eye closed at Rs 64.90, a premium of 30 per cent to its offer price of Rs 50 per share on the BSE.

The Rs 5 face value share opened at Rs 59.40 and the counter saw a high of Rs 67 before finaly closing at Rs 64.90. On the first day, as many as 5.94 lakh shares were traded on the exchange. The company re-entered the market with SSK corporate Finance as co-book runner replacing Smifs Capital and Triumph International, offering 50.04 lakh shares with the face value of Rs 5 each and the floor price being fixed at Rs 50. The issue opened on November 23 and closed on November 28 and the issue was subscribed 3.71 times.

The company earlier attempted to enter the market in June. Its lead manager then was HSBC securities and Smifs Capital and Triumph International the co-book runners. It had plans to offer 25.02 lakh shares, at a face value of Rs.10 and the floor price being fixed at Rs 225. The issue opened on June 30 and closed on July 6. However, the company withdrew the issue since there was no response from the public.
