US-64 reserves rocket 2500% to Rs 3,492 crore in last fiscal
UTI's flagship scheme US-64 has shown a mindboggling growth of more than 2500% in its reserves and surplus to Rs 3,492 crore during the year ended June 2000, up from Rs 130 crore in the last year.
UTI investible funds increase 18 per cent to Rs 75,159 crore
UTI investible funds increased by 18% to Rs 75,159 crore for the year ending June 2000 as against Rs 63,548 crore in the corresponding period last year. Gross sales of the country's largest mutual was also up by 7% to Rs 16,846 crore in 1999-2000 from Rs 15,678 crore in 1998-99.
Income, debt schemes show 90 per cent growth
Income, debt schemes of UTI registered a good performance. The surplus and reserves of these schemes rose to Rs 4,250 crore as on June 30, 2000, an increase of 99% compared to Rs 2,077 crore during the same period last year.
