Sensex gains 35 pts on short-covering
Short-covering, on account of the last day of settlement on National Stock Exchange (NSE), and select value buying in old economy stocks pulled up the stock prices on Tuesday. The Bombay Stock Exchange's Sensex gained about 35 points while NSE's S&P CNX Nifty rose by about 9 points.
