3genesis receives $2-million funding
3genesis, a global wireless software services company founded by Mr Gautam Patel and Mr Raju Wdalkar has announced that it has been funded to the tune of $2 million by Connectcapital Holdings (Asian arm of Insight Capital Partners) and e-ventures India (Softbank and News Corp).PCS bags computerisation contract
PCS Industries has bagged a Rs 15 crore project order from the Central Bank of India for all India branch computerisation. The order includes the computerisation of 163 branches across the country. The order was won against stiff competition from Compaq, HCL, Zenith, CMC, and ECI. The project includes providing hardware, operating systems, software, and networking hardware.

123india.com teams up with radioofindia
123india.com has launched an Internet-based radio channel in conjunction with radioofindia.com, with whom the portal has entered a tie-up. Mr Dhruv Sharma, CEO, 123india.com said, "We are aiming to earn Rs 10 lakh every month starting April next year".
