New Delhi, Nov 8: It would be difficult going if India's financial institutions have to fund the burgeoning telecom sector alone but instead should take help from foreign capital, a top IDBI Official today said. Foreign funds in the form of multilateral or bilateral agencies must be taken recourse to for funding and financing the telecom sector, Infrastructure Development Bank of India, deputy chairman S K Chakrabarti said. "Looking at the magnitude of the investments recquired for funding the telecom sector the Indian financial institutions cannot take up the burden alone'', he said. Please do not look at the Indian financial institutions as the only responsible party, the IDBI official said.
