Lux offers 22-carat gold coins
Lux has announced a consumer offer of 22-carat gold coins. Thousand of these gold coins have been embedded inside Lux soap tablets already available in the market. The lucky winners will have an opportunity to win an additional 30 grams of gold. All they need to do is call a telephone number, which is also being advertised. The first ten callers every week will get 30 grams of gold coins each. The six weeks promotion will continue till December 15th, 2000. The offer is being backed by a strong electronic media campaign staring Ms Rani Mukherjee, which is currently being aired. The offer can be availed only on the 100 gram and 150 gram packs of Lux soap.

Wahl launches wet & dry shaver
Wahl Clipper Corporation of America has launched Lady Wet & Dry Shaver with innovative features in India. Lady Wahl Shaver is being marketed in India by the Delhi-based Universal Impex. The shaver runs on two pencil cells and is cordless for the convenience of the user. Priced at Rs 1,975, the product is available with a one-year warranty.
