NBA plea to SC on Narmada
A day before the commencement of the work at the Narmada Dam by the Gujarat Government, the Narmada Bachao Andolan has filed an application in the Supreme Court, seeking revision of its verdict permitting construction on the dam.

`Scrap tax on Indian software'
Japanese industry has sought removal of the 20 per cent withholding tax on imports of Indian software to facilitate Indian IT penetration in a major way. India's software exports to Japan account for only four per cent of the total software import by Japan, which could go up to 15-20 per cent once the tax is removed.

Petronet plea on MRPL's status
