Rediff.com India Limited on Monday announced an agreement to acquire thinkindia.com, a privately-held US-based portal focusing on Indians in the USA, for American Depository Shares for an undisclosed amount.

India urged to step up software exports to Japan
Japan on Monday said India had great potential to step up software exports to Tokyo, which were a mere four per cent of New Delhi's total IT exports. Indicating this, Japanese apex chamber president, Mr T Imai told a Ficci meeting that Tokyo's main thrust in economic relations with New Delhi hereafter would be on IT.
