Allsoft in pact with Meganet for outsourcing testing software

Hyderabad: Allsoft Corporation Limited (ACL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Meganet Solutions, an US-based company, for outsourcing testing software, hi-end products and Net-related products.

Speaking to The Financial Express, Mr AV Srinivas Rao, managing director of the company said, "Allsoft will provide the infrastructure and Meganet will hold exclusive rights for the courses offered all over India. The revenue shared between the two companies will be in the ratio of 70:30 with ACL holding a bigger share."

Meganet will be investing about half-a-million dollars over an year's time for 12 courses offerd by it, he said. Meganet, which was set by Dr Megaraj, an NRI, in 1997 is a $10 million company, which is into hi-end solutions and quality assurance testing.

Allsoft has also signed an MoU with Robustt-GIL-Technologies, a Hyderabad-based company for GIS services.

Allsoft proposes to set up call centers in Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai in another two months. The company has already opened 13 call centres in Hyderabad on a franchisee basis and the revenue will be shared in the ratio of 60:40 between the company and its business partners, Mr Rao said.

ACL, which is into global resourcing, is also planning to launch an exclusive portal for placement services. Further, ACL is planning to enter all the IT-savvy cities in India by setting up `human presence', ie, strong individuals connected with IT field are recruited for consultancy services, Mr Rao said.
