Kerala govt allows laying cables along roads for free
After two months of dithering, the Kerala Government has announced the decision to allow private ISPs and telecom companies to utilise state highways for laying fibre-optic cables free of charge.

Venture Info raises $30m in second round
Venture Infotek, an e-infrastructure services company for the payments industry, has raised a total of $30 million in its second round of funding from Warburg Pincus, which has invested $27 million and Walden which has infused $3 million into the company.
