New Delhi: Trigyn Technologies on Wednesday tied up with leading Australian e-commerce firm Egility Ltd to market its proprietary eVector multi-acceess messaging platform and said it has chosen Australia as the focus area for its media-commerce products and solutions.Egility would be the value-added Reseller for eVector, which allows users to access any information on multiple devices like mobile phone, Internet, digital TV and Colour Television Interface through multiple channels like SMS and WAP.
An agreement to this effect was signed by Egility and Trigyn in the presence of the Australian Minister for Trade Mark Vaile. The minister described the agreement as an example of growing cooperation between India and Australia in the field of information technology.
eVector developed by Trigyn is designed to help organisation achieve time to market advantage in launching mobile services with its rich personalisation features providing end users choice of access devices and choice of information format, Mr Suresh Rajpal, President and CEO of Trigyn Technologies told newsmen here.
Trigyn's decision to focus on Australia is because the island market exhibits one of the highest level of technology take up per capita in the world with four million mobile phone users and 1.9 million Internet connections against the total population of 19 million. Australia is reported to the second largest world market for mobile application after Europe.
"eVector is the is one of the best products in this marketplace and it is at least nine months ahead of its closest competitor", said Mr Rajpal. "With eVector and other world class eBusiness solutions form the company we are confident that Trigyn would be able to convert the huge opportunity in our region", he added. Trigyn Technologies is formed after merging the Leading Edge and eCapital Solutions in January this year and has been focussing on providing Internet-centric software solutions and software.
