New Delhi: The Government on Wednesday has constituted a 21-member Cyber Regulation Advisory committee with the Information Technology Minister as chairman.This is in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 88 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, which came into effect on Tuesday.Mr Kailash Nath Gupta, who has been appointed as controller under the Act, has also been made a member.
Members of the committee include Secretaries of Information Technology, Legislative Department, Department of Telecommunications, Home, Defence, Commerce, besides Finance.
