DoT decision will have adverse impact -- Crisil
Our Banking Bureau
Mumbai, Oct 16: The Credit Rating Information Services of India ltd (Crisil) has said that the proposed move by the Department of Telecommunication (DoT) to allow private basic services operators to offer limited mobility using wireless-in-local-loop (WILL) will have an adverse impact on the cellular services operators, especially in the state circles."The impact of the decision is going to be crucial for state circle operators as they have to make high investments both in terms of equipment and license-fee payments.
