Tata Tech to set up resource centre in Pune
Tata Technologies on Wednesday announced plans to set up a software resource centre in Pune. The company, has acquired a 9.5 acre plot at the software technology park at Hinjawadi in Pune where it is setting up a world-class intelligent campus. The bhoomi pujan for the new campus was performed at the site on Wednesday in the presence of Tata group chairman Ratan N Tata, CEO and Managing Director, Patrick McGoldrick. An Internet portal, claimed to be the first of its kind in self improvement courses, would be launched in Coimbatore on Oct 14. The `school4success.com' identified more than 20 essential skills and have tailor-made courses for students, employees, entrepreneurs and the general public, company director V Venkatachalam said on Wednesday.
Airtel services launched in Andhra Pradesh
The Bharti Mobile Limited launched its Airtel services at Warangal, Kazipet and Hanamkonda in a drive to roll out its services through Andhra Pradesh. In a press release on Wednesday in Hyderabad chief executive officer, Bharti Mobile Ltd, J B Mehra said with the launch of the service at the three places, the total number of cities covered by Airtel had gone up to 11. Efforts were on to provide the services throughout the state, he added.
SSI Technologies bags CMM Level 4
SSI Technologies, the Chennai-based software solution provider has bagged the CMM (capability maturity model) level 4 certification. SSI Ltd chairman and CEO Mr Kalpathi S Suresh said, in a release that the new quality landmark achieved by the company is a reference point in the quality road map for SSI.
Lexsite in content pact with RoltaNet
Lexsite.com, the legal and the commercial information services provider, has tied up with the Internet Service Provider RoltaNet, for providing content. Lexsite also plans on signing with other ISPs like Hathway and Satyam.
