Overseas investments by MFs likely to be widened

Mumbai, Oct 5: The issue of allowing mutual funds to invest overseas in instruments other than the currently-permitted ADRs and GDRs of Indian companies has once again returned to the frontburner, with Sebi chairman DR Mehta making a fresh pitch for this before Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha on Thursday.
