Peak XV opens training centre in Bangalore
California-based Peak XV Networks has opened its first training centre in Bangalore to impart training to 200 engineers in core routing, switching, content delivery and distribution, virtual private networks and managed security services. It has plans to set up India Technology Centre at Electronics City in Bangalore to establish the company's business presence in India and the Asia-Pacific regions.

SAS, Wipro Tech in strategic pact
Silicon Automation Systems (SAS) and Wipro Technologies-Telecom Solutions have announced a strategic alliance to provide powerful WAP solutions to the wireless applications and products market. Wipro's WAP Smart and SAS's iWave would provide end to end solutions to the mobile market segment. This alliance would empower telecom service providers with total solution according to a release.

Trade2gain in LoI with SGS
Trade2gain.com, India's first B2B e-commerce online auction marketplace, has signed a letter of intent with Generale de Surveillance (SGS), international quality control and verification organisation to assess the implementation of an integrated software system designed to provide online ordering of inspection and rating services. SGS services would allow buyers transacting business on the site to make informed choices about products and vendors.

LegalPoint joins hands with Micro Tech
LegalPoint Limited of the UK, which provides value added software solutions for the legal community, has entered into a JV with Micro Technologies (India) Ltd, a Mumbai-based software development company. Micro Technologies will hold 20 per cent of the equity in the Joint Venture and the company targets revenues worth 100 million pounds in the five years according to a company release.

Under the terms of the agreement, PaisaPower.com will provide personal finance products and services to the indiasbest.com.
