Minor fuel leak in Rio's bay

Rio De Janeiro, Oct 3: Brazil Petrobras has small fuel leak in Rio's bay Rio De Janeiro, Oct 3 Brazil's state oil company Petrobras, which has caused a series of damaging oil spills this year, has suffered another small leak, dumping fuel into Rio de Janeiro's picturesque bay, officials said on Tuesday. While fuelling up, a Petrobras tanker dumped an unknown amount of fuel into Guanabara Bay, but it has since been contained, a spokeswoman at Rio's state environmental secretary said. Petrobras could not provide any details of the accident.Petrobras has come under fire amid a number of embarrassing spills, including a huge accident in July when a ruptured pipeline at a refinery spewed four million litres of crude into a southern river.
