Indiabulls to offer content on the Orange WAP portal

Our eFE Bureau
New Delhi: Bullish on `Anytime, Anywhere, Anyway' access, financial services provider Indiabulls, has entered into a relationship with Orange, Mumbai's leading cellular service provider for its WAP-enabled portal Orangeworld.com.

Under the arrangement, Indiabulls will provide content to Orange subscribers on the stock market through stock updates, portfolio tracking, standard market commentary, special bulletins, and price updates. In addition, Indiabulls is designing a special stock game which will allow subscribers to learn about e-trading on their handsets. The services are already available to Bombay subscribers and will be available to Delhi's Orange subscribers next week.

Leveraging its early start in terms of offering online trading, Indiabulls is therefore continuing the association of ``hi-tech'' with its brand. The strategy: to allow Indiabulls to provide its customers `Anytime, Anyway' access, through the Internet, telephone, human interface or emerging technologies like WAP.

Says Mr Gagan Banga, vice-president (marketing): `Indiabulls is an organisation which is a technology company at the core. It is our goal to use cutting edge technology to provide our customers with greater convenience and open new mediums to transact and get the latest of information.'' Indiabulls is looking at slew of such strategic alliances to strengthen its distribution system.
