Oracle iDevelop 2000 -- Investing in relationships

Oracle Software India has chalked out a multi-pronged strategy to beef up its business in the country. As part of the strategy, it will focus on three business areas: B2B, B2C, and e-biz.

This was disclosed at a two-day event, Oracle iDevelop 2000 Workshop, currently being held in Mumbai to showcase Oracle and HP products. However, the company has no plans to increase its strength in India. "We are not planning to increase manpower substantially in the country from the existing 450 people. However, the company will enhance its business in India by adding the number of business partners," Oracle Software India country manager Shekhar Dasgupta said.
