DTO commissions two Internet nodes
The Department of Telecom Operations (DTO) on Thursday commissioned two `Internet nodes' as a part of the Rs 33.5 crore National Internet Backbone (NIB) project, which envisages Internet infrastructure throughout the country. The two nodes were commissioned at Delhi and Bangalore. The remaining 43 nodes of the nib are planned by the end of the next month, the release said.TARA Gujarati plans new programmes

Important govt orders on the Net in TN
Important government orders in Tamil Nadu would be posted on the state government's Web site, an official release said on Thursday. Chief Minister M Karunanidhi has directed that orders of public importance be posted on the site www.tn.gov.in along with their full contents.
